We are looking for a new Senior Production Manager to work within our Ready To Wear Production Team. Our approach to men's fashion is strongly setting us apart from the establishment and is creating new space with tailoring at its core. We are there for people who want to be seen. Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in production management, preferably in the men’s tailoring industry.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in team management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in production planning and understanding of production processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of garment construction techniques, fabric properties, and product development and management skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in production processes is a plus.
- Professional level Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee the entire production cycle, starting with price negotiations and ordering Italian fabrics to shipping the products from our ateliers.
- Communicate with key stakeholders throughout the production process.
- Manage the performance of all suppliers (mills and ateliers) on key KPIs, including OTIF delivery, quality, lead time, and price.
- Create performance and quality-driven action plans for each supplier.
- Provide valuable input to support the setup of new PLM and ERP systems, ensuring they are optimized for production.
- Collaborate with the Production Team, which includes RTW Production, Custom Made Production, Product Development, Quality, and Sampling.
- Use your hands-on approach, independent work ethic, and growth mindset to continuously evaluate and optimize production workflows, driving operational excellence within the team.
