Quality Control Factory Inspector

As a QC Inspector, you are the eyes and hands of Suitsupply’s quality function on the factory floor. Permanently embedded at a production facility, you will perform final random inspections on all active production styles to ensure every garment meets Suitsupply’s exacting standards before it leaves the factory. This role is central to our Phase 1 model — one dedicated inspector per factory, building deep knowledge of that facility’s processes and quality performance over time. Working closely with factory inspectors and technicians, you will build trusted partnerships that drive continuous quality improvement. 

What you will do 

• Perform final random inspections (FRI, Stage 5) on finished goods in accordance with AQL sampling plans and Suitsupply inspection criteria. 

• Evaluate garments against approved PP samples, tech packs, and workmanship standards. 

• Classify and document defects accurately (critical, major, minor) with photographic evidence. 

• Receive and review factory in-line QC reports for visibility and early risk identification (Stage 4). 

• Communicate inspection results to factory management and follow up on corrective actions. 

• Submit regular inspection reports to the regional QC Manager. 

• Contribute to Stage 7 data collection: accurate defect logging to feed factory scorecards. 

• Build strong working relationships with factory production and QC teams. 

• Flag systemic quality issues or production risks to the QC Manager promptly. 

• Support Phase 2 factory capability development over time. 

• Compare AQL results with the factory’s own AQL results and identify discrepancies. 

• Review AQL and factory performance on a regular basis and assist in improvement plans (e.g. improving rework rates through more technical in-line assistance). 

• Assist in bulk fabric inspections and report any issues such as colour shading. 

 Who you are

• 2+ years of experience in garment quality inspection, ideally within menswear, tailoring, or shirts. 

• Solid knowledge of garment construction, common defect types, and AQL inspection standards. 

• Ability to read and interpret tech packs and garment specifications. 

• Good written and spoken English for reporting to the regional QC Manager. 

• Local language proficiency relevant to factory location. 

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 

• Sharp and consistent eye for garment quality and workmanship. 

• Objective and fair in defect assessment — independent from factory pressure. 

• Clear and accurate in documentation and reporting.

المهام والمسؤوليات

• إجراء عمليات التفتيش العشوائي النهائي (FRI، المرحلة 5) على السلع الجاهزة وفقًا لخطط أخذ عينات AQL ومعايير التفتيش الخاصة بـ Suitsupply.

• تقييم الملابس ومطابقتها مع عينات الـ PP المعتمدة، وملفات البيانات التقنية (Tech packs)، ومعايير جودة التصنيع.

• تصنيف وتوثيق عيوب التصنيع بدقة (حرجة، رئيسية، ثانوية) مع تدعيمها بالأدلة الفوتوغرافية.

• استلام ومراجعة تقارير مراقبة الجودة الخاصة بالمصنع أثناء الإنتاج (In-line QC reports) لضمان وضوح الرؤية والتحديد المبكر للمخاطر (المرحلة 4).

• إبلاغ إدارة المصنع بنتائج التفتيش ومتابعة الإجراءات التصحيحية اللازمة.

• تقديم تقارير تفتيش دورية إلى مدير مراقبة الجودة الإقليمي (Regional QC Manager).

• المساهمة في جمع بيانات المرحلة 7: تسجيل العيوب بدقة لتغذية لوحات قياس أداء المصنع (Scorecards).

• بناء علاقات عمل قوية مع فِرَق الإنتاج ومراقبة الجودة بالمصنع.

• إبلاغ مدير مراقبة الجودة فورًا بأي مشكلات نظامية تتعلق بالجودة أو مخاطر الإنتاج.

• دعم مبادرات تطوير قدرات المصنع في المرحلة 2 بمرور الوقت.

• مقارنة نتائج الـ AQL الخاصة بك مع نتائج المصنع وتحديد أي اختلافات أو فجوات.

• مراجعة أداء الـ AQL والمصنع بشكل منتظم، والمساعدة في وضع خطط التحسين (مثل تحسين معدلات إعادة العمل من خلال تقديم دعم تقني أكبر أثناء الإنتاج).

• المساعدة في فحص أقمشة الجملة (Bulk fabric) والإبلاغ عن أي مشكلات مثل تفاوت درجات الألوان (Colour shading).

المؤهلات المطلوبة

• خبرة سنتين أو أكثر في مجال فحص جودة الملابس، ويفضل أن تكون في مجال الملابس الرجالية، الخياطة الرفيعة (Tailoring)، أو القمصان.

• معرفة قوية بآليات بناء وتكوين الملابس، وأنواع العيوب الشائعة، ومعايير تفتيش AQL.

• القدرة على قراءة وتفسير ملفات البيانات التقنية (Tech packs) ومواصفات الملابس.

• مستوى جيد في اللغة الإنجليزية (كتابة ونطقاً) لإعداد التقارير ورفعها لمدير مراقبة الجودة الإقليمي.
