Quality Coordinator

Quality Coordinator
As a Quality Coordinator, you are the operational engine of Suitsupply’s EMEA quality function. Based in Amsterdam, you keep the day-to-day quality process running: scheduling inspections, chasing inspector submissions, leading in-office fittings, collecting store feedback, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You report to the Senior QC Manager EMEA and work closely with the Buying team to keep inspections on track and orders moving on time.
What You Will Do
Coordinate and schedule all AQL inspections across EMEA factories, aligned with the production calendar.
Maintain a live inspection calendar and flag conflicts, gaps, or missed windows early.
Work closely with the Buying team on order management to ensure inspections are completed on time and do not cause production or delivery delays.
Prepare inspection briefs for factory inspectors with correct tech packs, AQL levels, and workmanship standards.
Act as the primary contact for all factory-embedded QC Inspectors on day-to-day admin and reporting.
Chase outstanding Final Inspection Reports and Pending Quality Issues, maintaining a submission tracker and escalating delays.
Assist with inspections carried out in the Amsterdam office as an extra check on incoming bulk garments.
Lead in-office QC fittings, organising bulk comparisons across multiple factories to assess and drive consistency in fit, construction, and finish.
Compile factory scorecard data from inspection outcomes and Pending Quality Issues; prepare regular supplier performance reports.
Maintain regular contact with Suitsupply stores to gather quality feedback, translate it into action plans, and follow up with factories to close the loop.
Support the Senior QC Manager EMEA in preparing supplier-facing quality reviews.
Visit factories regularly to verify AQL is correctly applied and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) are up to date.
Report findings to the Senior QC Manager EMEA and track that previously raised issues have been actioned.
Support new factory onboarding from a quality admin perspective — inspection frameworks, contacts, and reporting templates.
Ensure all activities align with Suitsupply’s sustainability and compliance standards.
Who You Are
1–3 years of experience in a coordination or quality-related role, ideally in fashion, garment manufacturing, or supply chain.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow-up threads simultaneously.
Comfortable with Excel, data trackers, and reporting tools; PLM experience is a plus.
Eye for automation opportunities — able to identify repetitive reporting or follow-up tasks that could be streamlined through templates, tools, or simple workflow improvements.
Confident communicator in English; French, Portuguese, or Arabic is a bonus.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and genuinely interested in garment quality and manufacturing.
Organised and dependable — keeps multiple work streams on track without losing detail.
Data-conscious — spots gaps, flags inconsistencies, and maintains clean records.
Collaborative — bridges Quality, Buying, stores, and factory inspectors effectively.
Proactive — surfaces issues early and follows through on action plans.
Willing to travel regularly to factory locations.
