SUITSUPPLY is a global leader in men's fashion, specializing in high-quality suits and menswear, available online and in stores worldwide. Our mission is to empower people to look and feel their best, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide exceptional customer experiences. At SUITSUPPLY, innovation drives us, and craftsmanship, quality, and service define us. As a Data Engineer in our central Data Platform team, you’ll play a key role in optimizing and expanding our data infrastructure to empower decentralized teams across the organization. You’ll refine robust ETL pipelines, ensure our platform is reliable, scalable, and future-proof, and - where opportunities arise - pilot real-time event enrichment with Apache Kafka and Flink. This is a role for a mid-to-senior engineer who thrives on both building and guiding—empowering teams across the business to make the most of our data platform.
What You'll Do:
  • Elevate our pipelines: continuously improve ETL workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

  • Enable self-service: build features and processes that allow more teams to work independently with our platform.

  • Champion data contracts: support our fully declarative transformation flow from landing zone to production.

  • Collaborate and guide: partner with internal engineering, product, and business teams, promoting best practices and enabling effective platform use.

  • Uphold technical excellence: keep our GCP-based infrastructure (BigQuery, dbt, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Airbyte, Datastream and, sporadically, Kubernetes) stable, secure, and efficient.

  • Automate with Terraform: use Infrastructure-as-Code to deploy, manage, and scale platform resources

  • Explore streaming innovation: contribute to the adoption of real-time event enrichment using Apache Kafka and Flink.

Who you are:
  • Seasoned engineer: 5+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 2 years working on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).

  • Proficient in programming: expert-level SQL skills and strong Python for data processing, automation, and workflow orchestration.

  • Experienced with tools & platforms: BigQuery, dbt, Cloud Run, Airbyte, and Google Datastream. Experience with Apache Kafka and Flink is a plus.

  • Architectural thinker: skilled in data modeling, transformation workflows, and building resilient and log producing systems.

  • Clear communicator: comfortable guiding both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Curious innovator: excited to explore new tools, especially in streaming and real-time data.

What you get:
  • Impact at scale: your work shapes how the entire company uses and benefits from data.

  • Modern tech stack: work with GCP, BigQuery, dbt, and cutting-edge streaming tools.

  • Direct access to GCP beta features: get hands-on with upcoming Google Cloud innovations before they’re publicly available.

  • Empowered environment: join a team that values autonomy, collaboration, and technical excellence.

  • Growth mindset: experiment, learn, and lead as we expand our data capabilities.

  • Competitive Compensation: An excellent salary package.

  • Make an Impact: Contribute to our ambitious growth plans.

  • Exclusive Discounts: 40% discount on all Suitsupply products.

  • Global Workforce: Join a diverse team with 20+ nationalities, serving customers in 30+ countries and 100+ stores.
