As a CAD/CAM Specialist at Suitsupply, you will lead the development and refinement of custom-made patterns, ensuring precision and efficiency in our tailored clothing production. You will be responsible for creating and improving workflows, guiding the integration of CAD systems, and collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards throughout the process. Your expertise will directly influence the accuracy and fit of our custom-made garments, enhancing both customer satisfaction and overall production quality.
What you will do:
  • Develop and optimize workflows for creating base patterns and custom solutions, ensuring efficient and accurate pattern-making processes.

  • Lead the integration and utilization of CAD software (Assyst, Gerber) across the team, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and best practice advice to enhance performance.

  • Coordinate with external software suppliers and internal teams, implementing best practices and driving continuous improvements in pattern accuracy and functionality.

  • Conduct quality reviews of patterns, alterations, and gradings to ensure adherence to our high standards, implementing testing protocols for fit accuracy.

  • Maintain project oversight, track milestones, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement or potential risks.

  • Analyze customer feedback to refine patterns, improving the fit and quality of our custom-made garments based on real-world insights.

Who you are:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in men’s patternmaking, with a strong focus on custom-made garments.

  • Proficient in CAD software, especially Assyst and Gerber, with knowledge of 3D technology as a plus.

  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, tailored men’s wear, and fabric properties.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

  • Excellent organizational abilities, able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and provide clear project updates.

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is a bonus.
