Suitsupply is seeking an experienced Product Developer Shoes and Accessories to join our dynamic team. This individual will oversee and execute all aspects of sourcing and developing high-quality formal leather shoes, sneakers and accessories, focusing on sourcing in- and outside of Europe to bring new, innovative suppliers into our portfolio. A successful candidate will possess deep expertise in shoe craftsmanship, an eye for premium materials, and a strategic mindset for international sourcing. They will ensure that all selected products align with Suitsupply’s quality standards and embody the brand’s commitment to sophistication, durability, and comfort.
What you will do:
  • Establish Suitsupply as the Category Leader in men's footwear.

  • Collaborate with design, merchandising, and planning teams to build a growth strategy that balance quality, scalability and profitability. Align shoe collections with brand identity and seasonal themes.

  • Ensure shoes meet comfort and fit standards, including proper fit, and ease of break-in for enhanced customer satisfaction.

  • Continuously analyze competitor products and industry standards to ensure offerings stand out in terms of quality, design, and craftsmanship.

  • Together with Sourcing identify and select high-quality shoe producers that meet Suitsupply’s standards for craftsmanship and durability.

  • Together with Buying develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, identifying new sources that align with Suitsupply’s standards of quality and style.

Who you are:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in footwear product development and design, with a focus on luxury footwear.

  • Extensive knowledge of shoe craftsmanship and quality indicators, including experience with premium leather, Goodyear welt and Blake construction and high-end finishing techniques.

  • Proven ability to source from international markets in- and outside Europe and establish long-term supplier relationships.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with an aptitude for market analysis and trend identification.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, brand consistency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed for supplier visits and product inspections.
