Legal Counsel
As a Legal Counsel at Suitsupply, you will be part of the legal team supporting our departments as we rapidly scale our global footprint. With a strong focus on contracts for works and services, procurement/sourcing, and litigation, you will help ensure the business continues to grow with confidence. This role requires a commercial and pragmatic mindset, translating complex legal challenges into actionable solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners across multiple jurisdictions. Your work will directly contribute to protecting Suitsupply’s interests and enabling smooth international expansion.
What you will do:
Provide legal support to Suitsupply departments, offering strategic guidance on a wide range of legal matters.
Act as a bridge between external counsels, landlords, and internal project managers, translating complex contractual terms into clear, actionable project timelines.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a strong emphasis on contracts for works and services (construction/fit-outs, maintenance) and procurement agreements.
Monitor deadlines and actively manage litigation and disputes to protect the company’s interests.
Collaborate closely with local counsels on legal projects across multiple jurisdictions.
Audit and optimize current legal workflows by setting up standard templates and frameworks to increase speed and consistency across all markets.
Who you are:
Fully qualified lawyer admitted to the bar.
Approximately 2–3 years of relevant working experience (PQE), ideally within an international law firm.
Mandatory expertise in at least two of the following areas: Construction agreements Procurement law Litigation / dispute resolution
Experience in an international setting, ideally within the retail or fashion industry, is a plus.
Commercially minded with the ability to find pragmatic solutions and get things done.
Able to work quickly, decisively, independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Dutch (Native/Fluent level required).
