As a Senior Buyer/Merchandiser, you will lead the selection of collection assortments, develop growth strategies, and execute sales plans to ensure a customer-focused and competitive offering across our stores and online platforms. You will manage one or more product categories, leveraging sales data to create effective strategies that drive both short-term and long-term growth. Your insights and actions will play a crucial role in optimizing our product selection and enhancing the overall customer experience.
What you will do:
  • Oversee the daily management and operations of assigned product categories, ensuring a customer-centric and commercially viable assortment.

  • Monitor and analyze weekly sales performance, identify key takeaways, and implement actionable plans to drive category growth.

  • Lead the development of category strategy plans, aligning cross-functional teams towards achieving sales targets.

  • Manage the seasonal buy process, including thorough analysis of past seasons, presenting growth plans, and creating item-level sales plans by channel and region.

  • Handle item creation and price management within internal systems to maintain accurate product data.

Who you are:
  • 4+ years of experience in buying or merchandising within the fashion industry, ideally in DTC menswear or high-quality tailoring brands.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.

  • Based in the Netherlands with a strong understanding of the local market.

  • Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible and adaptable, thriving in dynamic, rapidly changing conditions.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills, viewing product categories as businesses within the business.
