We are seeking a Senior Software Architect with a passion for technology and fashion to join our dynamic IT team. As a pivotal player in our digital transformation, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design and integration of our .NET, C#, Azure, React, NextJS, and Vercel tech stack, ensuring our Agile teams produce scalable, robust, and high-quality solutions that drive our retail operations forward. Your expertise will help us continue to integrate with Best of Breed SaaS solutions, supporting our retail processes, enhancing efficiency and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a visionary and a pragmatic problem solver, experienced in designing and implementing scalable systems in a global retail organization. 
What you will do: 
  • Lead the architectural design and development of our software systems using .NET, C#, Azure, React, NextJS , and Vercel.

  • Advocate and implement best practices in microservices architecture, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services tailored to our retail environment.

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. 

  • Guide and mentor multiple Agile development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and best practices.

  • Contribute to the Backend Chapter to improve overall standards across the teams.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology decisions with business goals, driving innovation and efficiency across all digital platforms.

  • Stay current with retail industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that our architecture remains innovative and competitive. 

  • Drive continuous improvement in our software architecture, processes, and practices.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a software architecture role.

  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, Azure, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions

  • Bonus: GraphQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems.

  • Experience leading Agile development teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong knowledge of integrating SaaS solutions and managing a complex digital ecosystem.

  • Passion for technology and staying up to date with fashion retail industry trends.
